Born on January 21, 2009, we are a company dedicated to importing quality restaurant related goods from the country of Kosova. President and CEO, Mike Kabashi who has lived through the war of 1999 with his family which ultimately allowed Kosova to gain its’ independence from the former Yugoslavia, now resides in New York and is dedicated to the interests of his homeland. With the dream of contributing to the economy of Kosova and pursuing an import business, Meti Import & Export, Inc. was created along with President & COO, Max Lippolis and stregnthened by the addition of Adil Mustafaraj. In December of 2008, The Republic of Kosova declared its’ independence and is now formerly recognized by over 60 United Nations members.

Meti is based in Peekskill, NY just behind the Beach Shopping Center. With our commitment to a long term endeavor, we have secured a 12,000 square foot warehouse capable of housing both dry goods and refridgerated products. Our goal is to develop partnerships with local and regional distributors that will distribute our products to the account level. We are constantly looking to expand our relationships and strongly believe we can offer quality products at compelling prices allowing distributors to enhance their margin of profit.

About us

With Mike’s established contacts and various other intermediaries on the ground throughout the country of Kosova, we are able to build partnerships with small to medium sized production facilities to produce on-demand items in high volume. With the evolving economy which allows for very affordable cost of labor and the preferential trade status given to Kosova by the United States therefore eliminated tariffs on many of our imports, we are able to manufacture a variety of high volume products at extremely competitive prices to our rivals in China and abroad. As a people, the citizens of Kosova will be eternally grateful to the Unites States and signs of loyalty to America can be seen throughout the country. The work ethic applied to produce our goods will be evident in the quality of the final product!
